- Purchase the software in our secure online shop. Share-it! will email you the serial number of your software licence.
- Register your software licence by serial number at the db audioware Customer Support Centre. Download the software package you need for Mac OS X or PC Windows.
- Install the software on your audio/music computer.
- Authorize the software on that computer.

How do I buy DirectX Mastering Plug-ins? |
- Install our demo plug-ins (you have tried them, right?)
- Purchase the plug-in(s) in our secure online shop. Share-it! will email you an activation code for each plug-in you have bought.
- Activate the plug-in by entering the code using the "Register" option in the plug-in's popup menu. This will permanently unlock the demo plug-in.
That's all there is to it - no CDs to be delivered, or large file downloads to suffer!

Why should I buy online? |
The quickest and easiest way to purchase software from db audioware is online with a credit or debit card. share-it! sells db audioware software in a secure online shop that uses SSL encryption and a Verisign certified secure server to ensure your data security and privacy. Simply click on a "Buy Now" link on the appropriate product page to enter the secure online shop.

Are there alternatives to buying online? |
Certainly. If you prefer not to order online by credit or debit card, you can pay by personal cheque, cash, or wire transfer. In all cases, you should still start the order process in our secure online shop, but select your preferred method of payment on the first secure page. If you ask to pay by cash/cheque/wire, the secure server will give you a reference number and details of how to make your payment. Once share-it! receives your payment, your plug-in codes or download instructions will be emailed to you.
You can fax your credit card order to share-it!. In this case, start the order process in our secure online shop and look for a link at the bottom of the first page saying "I prefer to fax my order". This will take you to a printable order form which you can fax to share-it!.
You can phone in your order to share-it! in the USA or Germany.

How long does it take to purchase software? |
If you buy online by credit card, you will receive your plug-in codes or download instructions immediately upon your credit card being authorized. In most cases, this will take only a few seconds. In unusual circumstances where share-it! cannot immediately authorize your card (eg technical failure communicating with your credit card company server) your order will be manually processed within 24 hours.
Orders placed by other methods (cash, cheque, wire transfer) will be completed as soon as your payment has been received and confirmed.

Do I get a CD or disks containing the software? |
No. We exclusively use the internet for delivery of all our software and documentation. This helps us to keep our prices low.

Do I have to pay additional Value Added Tax (VAT)? |
For software purchased in the share-it! secure online shop, the quoted prices include VAT / Tax, where applicable. The VAT rate that currently applies is the German VAT rate of 19% (share-it! is a German company). VAT registered customers can buy ex-VAT in the normal way.
Software purchased directly from db audioware is currently not subject to VAT.

Can I purchase directly from db audioware? |
Customers in the UK can purchase directly from db audioware, but it's faster and easier to buy online. To place your direct order, first send us an email telling us what you would like to order (so we have your correct email address on file). Then post your cheque, postal order or cash (in UK sterling only) along with a short covering letter (or scribbled post-it note, we're not fussy) to:

Please make cheques payable to DB AUDIOWARE LIMITED. We'll rush your plug-in codes or download instructions out to you as soon as we receive your letter. Note we highly recommend you send any cash using registered mail. Any cash entrusted to Royal Mail is done entirely at your own risk!
